The Master of Business Administration (MBA)
In today’s competitive business environment, Information Technology plays a central role in developing strategies for competitive advantage. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Zicklin School offers students the ability to select from a large variety of Information Systems (IS) courses offered by our department. The program includes 18 credits of electives that can be taken from any department or program in the Business School. MBA students can customize their degree to include the necessary IS courses that will be necessary for their careers.
Students can select from a range of courses in the major to focus on specific technologies and strategic areas of interest, such as business analytics, cybersecurity, information technology in financial markets, e-business, database management systems, and global IT. Graduates of the MBA are equipped with a comprehensive business education, while able to specialize on the role of Information Technology in shaping, enabling, and delivering a company’s strategic goals.
For students who want to concentrate exclusively on Information Systems, the Zicklin School also offers a Master of Science degree program in Information Systems.
