From our Starr Career center…
Fall 2016 Undergraduate Career Day is happening TOMORROW (Friday, 9/23/2016) from 12PM – 4PM in the Vertical Campus Gymnasium.
There will be 80+ companies attending the Fall 2016 Undergraduate Career Day tomorrow to recruit all current Baruch undergraduate students from SPIA, Weissman and Zicklin for internship and job opportunities. This email provides a link for an advanced copy of the Company Directory to help you get a head start on preparing for the event.
The Booklet lists all participating companies and available positions. Please review this publication prior to attending the fair as it will help you focus on the companies you want to speak to and learn more about their opportunities during the event.
You will need your EMPLID, Baruch ID card and a copy of your resume to enter the fair.
Please remember to apply to those companies who will be returning to Baruch for on campus interviews (OCR) through Starr Search – to do so you must have attended an OCR workshop and/or completed the Internship OCR Tutorial.
We strongly encourage you to download and print a copy of the booklet and bring it with you to the event as there will NOT be copies available on site. Please note, access to the “Career Fair” tab in Starr Search provides more detailed information so you may also want to check online in addition to the booklet. Special thanks to the Baruch Newman Library staff for compiling company information to help you easily research companies of interest.
Please remember to dress in formal business attire (suits) and bring at least 30+ copies of your resume to the fair.
Need some last minute resume review? Print a copy of your resume and come by VC 2-150 today from 3:00pm to 6:30pm for a walk-in session. Note that it is on a first-come, first served basis.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and we wish you the best of luck on a successful job search.
